Eau de parfum Travel Trilogy In this perfume, I found my land: Ciavuru d'amuri was born in Sicily, in the south of the world. In the austere silence, I wait for my hour. The scents of women envelop the house, the salty taste of the wooden clogs that sway appears. The clothes of mothers smell of incense, mothers caress the rosaries. I remember those late summer afternoons when, men and women, we hurried back from the sea and stole the figs that dominated the street from the crumbling walls. We ran to the festival, the large doors of the churches opened their secrets, their scents. I remember those summer evenings when, tired, I slept in my mother's arms, my hands still smelled of figs, but my love kept me between the white clothes, among the incense that enveloped it. I often think of my land, of my origins, I evoke the years spent on my land and the moments when I returned there, in the summer, during school holidays. My Sicily contains contrasting emotions, sweet memories and bitter sensations. I have built the olfactory memories of my Sicily. They carry in their fragrant body what I recognize most strongly in the scent of my land, like the newborn in its first moments of life, the skin of the mother, from her breast. Ciavuru d'amuri is my childhood, the time of youth, a devotion to mothers, to mine, to my mother's mother, and to the motherland, the generator of all our emotions. I remember the smell of the fig tree, its body was large and it created shade in the garden, the reflections of its light still bathe my eyes with emotion today.  

Composition: Fig, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Frankincense, Cedar, Sandalwood, Mugwort, Benzoin, Bergamot.
